Beyonce's Statue At Madame Tussauds Has Been 'Adjusted' After Backlash

After backlash surrounding Beyoncé's wax statue at Madame Tussaud's New York City location spread around the blogosphere, the folks at the Big Apple tourist spot appeared to feel the heat and adjusted the new addition to their museum.

On Thursday (July 20), The New York Times reported that the statue of the pop titan was missing from the star-studded celebrity halls. "A staff member at the building did not offer a reason for the wax figure's absence, saying only that the statute was 'off the floor until further notice," the outlet reported. However, in a statement e-mailed to the outlet on Friday, Madame Tussauds New York said that the replica of the pop titan had simply been adjusted. "We love, respect and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé. We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure and she is on display," the statement reads.

Initially unveiled last week, the Lemonade singer's statue made all sorts of commotion and even prompted The View to talk about the figure during a segment on their show. If all is still as planned, you can check out the wax statue until September.
