'EdChup' is here!
Heinz Ketchup and Ed Sheeran have collaborated, and have officially created Ed Sheeran's very own bottle of 'EdChup.' Surprisingly, Ed Sheeran is a mega fan of ketchup. He is so much of a fan ketchup, that he has a Heinz Ketchup bottle label tattooed on his bicep. Wow, his love runs deep. You can see the tattoo here.
Ed Sheeran's love for Heniz Ketchup went so far, that he even reached out to Heinz on Instagram, asking them to 'collaborate' for an advertisement. Ed wrote:
"Yo @heinz I have an idea for a TV ad if you wanna do one, if not I won't be offended, I could never be mad at you," He posted a photo of him kissing the bottle of ketchup captioned "Slide in my DMs or have your people call my people. Lots of love, your biggest fan x."
It was reported that Ed loves ketchup so much that he has one handy at all times. He has one wherever he goes, so he can have it with everything from his breakfasts to an top chef dinner. He is prepared.
Ed's ketchup dream became a reality in May, when he posted a picture on instagram that the collaboration with him and his beloved heinz was "happening." He also included some funny hashtags "#dreamscometrue #believe #achieve"
His latest announcement on instagram on Wednesday morning was that "It's actually real and you'll be able to get your hands on one very soon #EdChup #Ketchup #EDxHeinz #TheDreamThatKeepsOnGiving #Advert
Heinz stated in a press release that the new 'EdChup' creation with Ed, is the "perfect" bottle of ketchup. I actually have no idea how this is different than any other bottle of heinz ketchup? But hey, good for Ed!
