11 Million People Could See Their Credit Score Go Up Due To Changes In Credit Reporting

Because of changes to how FICO scores are calculated, about 11 million people COULD be seeing their score go up!   Some could see as much as a 40-point jump in their score

According to a Buzzfeed article:

Credit bureaus TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian are now changing their policies on when (these) court judgements and tax liens will be counted as black marks on credit scores. Such judgements will need to include at least a name, address, and birthdate or social security number — something the “vast majority” of civil judgements do not contain, the CTIA said.

Hopefully your score goes up!!
