Tropical Storm Michael causing big problems in North Carolina and Virginia

Tropical Storm Michael continues to push through North Carolina before it heads out into the open Atlantic.  But forecasters say the storm is posing a dangerous situation for North Carolina and Virginia, with tropical storm force winds and flash floods.

As of 5 p.m. Thursday, Michael is about 20 miles north-northwest of Raleigh, North Carolina moving northeast at 24 miles per hour.

Tropical storm warnings are in place along the North and South Carolina coasts.
