Sugar Sand Festival Creates Sand Sculpture In Honor Of Notre Dame Cathedral

This is absolutely amazing of the folks at the Sugar Sand Festival on Pier 60.

They posted a pic to their Instagram showing a sand sculpture that was created in honor of the Notre Dame Cathedral that caught fire, with the caption:

The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival in Clearwater Beach, FL stands with the city of Paris and the millions of visitors who have sought peace in this iconic structure.

Organizers of the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival created a new sand sculpture to honor the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, after a fire swept through the holy landmark on April 15. The sculpture also happens to go along with the theme of this year’s festival, “SEA the World, A Journey Around the Globe.”
