16 Artists Who Sang On Our Favorite Disney Soundtracks

Since the 90s, when it comes to Disney movies and their music, we have come to expect a pop star to perform their own rendition of a film's theme for its respective soundtrack. While we know that celebs Ariana Grande and John Legend lent their dreamy voices to the 2017 version of Beauty and the Beast and the great Phil Collin's composed and sang the music of Tarzan, we have compiled a list of stars you may not have realized were featured on the soundtracks of some of the franchise's biggest films. While you probably know all of the words to Queen Elsa's powerful rendition of "Let It Go", did you know that this pop star recorded her own version of the song for Frozen's soundtrack? The song's writers told The Wall Street Journal that they chose Demi to record the famous track because of the parallels between Elsa and Demi's stories; "She had a past that she's pretty open about that is similar to Elsa's journey of letting a dark past and fear behind and moving forward with your power."
