  • Before entering musical theater, Smith had been in jazz bands.
  • Sam is a third cousin of Lily Allen.

LIZZO

  1. At the age of 14, Lizzo formed a musical group called Cornrow Clique with her friends.
  2. Her hit, "Truth Hurts," became a viral sleeper hit after inspiring a TikTok meme and appearing in 2019 Netflix film, Someone Great.
  3. She has previously opened up for Haim and Florence and the Machine.

NORMANI

  1. As a child, Normani used to compete in dance, gymnastics and beauty pageants.
  2. She made a cameo in Khalid's music video for "Young Dumb & Broke.”
