Halsey is getting ready to walk down the aisle after confirming their engagement to Avan Jogia.

The "Lucky" singer confirmed the news while responding to a post on X (formerly Twitter) that said "Halsey says she hopes to marry boyfriend Avan Jogia," resharing the post to correct the reports, writing, "***fiancé Avan Jogia." The pair have been linked for nearly a year after first debuting their relationship in 2023.

Halsey spoke more about their relationship with Jogia with E! News on the red carpet of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday (September 11), where the singer rocked out with grungy performance of their latest '90s-inspired single "Ego," from their upcoming "confessional" concept album The Great Impersonator.

"Avan is the best," they said. "He's one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. And every single day that I get to spend with him is one where I just feel like I'm with my best friend."

Halsey also revealed how the Victorious alum gets along with her 3-year-old son Ender, whom she welcomed with ex Alev Aydin, telling the outlet that the pair are "inseparable."

The couple first sparked engagement rumors earlier this summer during a PDA-packed picnic when Halsey was seen wearing a "massive" ring on their left ring finger.
