The launch of a Falcon Heavy rocket from Cape Canaveral was a success.
The SpaceX rocket left the launch pad at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday and was the Falcon Heavy's first-ever night launch, something Elon Musk had said would be his company's "toughest yet."
It was also the first time a Department of Defense launch has used boosters that have flown previously.
The rocket is carrying two dozen satellites into space, along with the ashes of more than 150 people.
