A Bill That Could End Hispanic Workforce Immigration Heads To The Senate

A bill essentially ending Hispanic workforce immigration heads back to the Senate this week after passing in the House. The bill would stop employment-based immigration from countries other than India or China for the next decade. If it gets the green light, no other foreign workers would be able to get green cards through employment, basically ending all Hispanic workforce immigration in Florida. Attorney Tammy Fox-Isicoff says she's horrified by the idea because it will mean Florida's workforce will come to a screeching halt. No word yet on if Florida Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott will support this bill, Scott says Florida is an immigration state but we also need to fix the system so it makes sense.
