A day after Miami-Dade announces it's hiring 500 new contact tracers, Broward announces it's adding more too. Dr. Paula Thaqi, Director of the Florida Department of Health in Broward, says tracing is just one piece of the puzzle, people have to do their part by wearing masks and social distancing. Broward's hospitals are all nearing capacity with ICU beds. Broward Health has about 30 available now, Memorial Health says it's using its tents and can create field hospitals if needed.But it's running low on nurses -so they are recruiting them to come.
