Chick-fil-A may be the leader in the fast-food chicken market, but they recently have been testing a new sandwich that has people online in a total frenzy.
Although it took the company nearly four years to perfect this recipe, the new Cauliflower Sandwich has NOT been a hit on TikTok. It's not even the sandwich itself that has people the most upset... it's the price of it!
TikTok food reviewer @MorganChomps has posted a video of her opinion stating “Alright, today, we’re taste-testing Chick-fil-A’s new cauliflower sandwich. These have only been released to three test markets, and this cost me $7.19 before tax.” She goes on to say that she was not impressed by the flavor and “it kind of just tastes like a fillet of breading.”
Another TikTok user commented, “How is a cauliflower more expensive than a chicken 😦” and that response has over 14,000 likes. Finally, another user said, "So frustrating for it to be $7…like? Why can’t we have affordable meat-free options?"
