Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Adding Hundreds Of Vegan Options On Their Menus

Disney Parks serving vegan food?

Coming up here, (as soon as October 1st) Walt Disney Park and resorts will have a new selection of vegan foods added to their various food locations.

Customers will be able to choose from hundreds of different plant based meal options. The restaurants at Disney will also have plant based vegan options on their menus as well starting October 3rd.

This is great news, as the plant based diet is becoming more and more popular with even places like Burger King serving up the "Impossible Whopper", that contains NO meat at all.

According to the plant based new website, "39% of Americans are trying to eat a plant based diet."

Chef John State, who's the Culinary Director at the Walt Disney World Park Resorts says, the new plant based menu is used with:

  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Grains
  • Seeds
  • Legumes

There's no animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey at all.

Chef John has showed a couple of dishes on the menu like, the "Potato Flautas" which look like spring rolls with chorzio with chili looks amazing! They also have a cooler and lighter option of a "Rongo" salad. This has edamame, sesame seeds, tofu, cherry tomatoes, and papaya.

Look for the new plant based icon on the Disney menus on October 3rd. There will be more than 400 vegan menu items across the Disney World Park, and the new vegan menu options will be available at the Disneyland Parks in April 2020.

I am personally looking forward to this menu addition to the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, as I'm trying to eat a more plant based diet myself. For more info, click here.
