Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas" Reaches No. 1 After 25 Years

Now, is it really Christmas if we don't have Mariah Carey?

Mariah Carey's Christmas was started on Halloween night at 11:59 pm. Mariah posted a cute video on her social media (video here) of her dressed up in a full Halloween costume and makeup, and wakes up at midnight of November 1st, in Christmas pajamas by a call from Santa.

The diva always goes all out for Christmas, and with only nine days until Christmas, Mariah has received another gift!

Her iconic song "All I Want Fort Christmas Is You" has officially topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time.

This is crazy, because this is the FIRST time in 25 years that this song has reached number 1. The song came out in 1994, when Mariah Carey was 24 years old.

This is the second Christmas song to ever hit number 1, along with "The Chipmunks' Song" (Christmas Don't Be Late) from 1958.

Mariah re-released her Christmas album last month, and also has an Amazon mini documentary about the history, and making the song. The documentary is called "Mariah Carey is Christmas"

The classic song has earned Mariah millions of dollars worldwide. From air play, downloads, streaming, and sales. One thing is for sure, Christmas is must be the best thing EVER in Mariah's house.
