More than a dozen arrests took place at Kathleen Senior High School after students protested their new principals school policies. It can be easy to see why. One of the key things the students were protesting were the homecoming policy. The new principal wanted to implement a rule that only allowed them to wear jeans. They were NOT allowed to wear dresses/suits AND kids were not allowed to dance with other students? Sounds more like prison than an actual homecoming dance...
While most of the protest was deemed as "peaceful" there were a few bad eggs that were now demonstrating peacefully.
