(Clearwater, FL) Two Florida women are now facing felony charges after police say they went to a man’s Clearwater apartment before 3a.m. Monday and started throwing glitter at him during an argument.
According to Pinellas County arrest affidavits, 27-year-old Kaitlin O’Donovan and 29-year-old Sarah Franks went to the man’s apartment on Fairwood and started arguing with him as he stood on his fenced balcony.
According to Clearwater police, both women threw a container of glitter at the victim during the early morning argument and arrest records state the man was hit in the head and torso with the glitter.

Officials say after throwing the glitter, Sarah Franks then climbed over the apartment balcony to enter the man’s apartment to throw yet more containers of glitter at him inside of the apartment. Franks also unlocked the front door to let O’Donovan inside the dwelling where O’Donovan threw more containers of glitter at the man.
According to Clearwater PD, Franks then fled from the apartment complex in a vehicle that was quickly traced back to her Seville Boulevard, Clearwater home.
Records show both Franks and O’Donovan were arrested and charged with felony burglary with assault or battery, in addition Franks was charged with criminal mischief because police say she kicked a window until it broke as she was leaving the apartment to get into her getaway car.
