Which state drinks the most beer?

According to a study by Learning to Homebrew, Montana is the state that drinks the most beer in the United States.

The study examined various factors, including population density, beer consumption per capita, barrel production and revenue, and the number of breweries.

Montana's high ranking is due to its high per capita beer consumption of 40.8 units and the large number of active breweries (92) in the state.

New Hampshire came in second with 39.8 units per capita and 91 breweries, followed by North Dakota with 38.2 units per capita.

South Dakota and Maine also made the top five, while Vermont, Texas, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Nevada also made the list.
