Fisher-Price has announced a recall of 4.7 million Rock 'n Play Sleepers following reports of 100 deaths linked to the product. The company first issued a warning about the sleepers in April 2019, but this latest recall is the first time the company has issued a formal recall of the product.

The Rock 'n Play Sleeper is a popular product among parents as it is designed to soothe babies and help them sleep. However, reports have linked the sleeper to incidents of babies rolling over while in the product, which can lead to suffocation. The American Academy of Pediatrics has issued a statement urging parents to stop using the product and to immediately seek an alternative sleeping solution for their babies.

Fisher-Price has stated that the recall is being conducted in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and that the company is committed to ensuring the safety of its products. The recall includes all models of the Rock 'n Play Sleeper, regardless of the manufacturing date. The company is also offering a refund or voucher for the product to all customers who have purchased it.
