21-Foot Killer Whale Washes Ashore On Florida Beach

On Wednesday morning, a 21-foot orca was discovered stranded on a Florida beach and later pronounced dead, according to officials.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office reported that the stranded orca was found on the shoreline in Palm Coast, just south of Jungle Hut Park. The cause of the stranding is currently unknown.

Marine biologists and wildlife officials were on the scene to conduct a necropsy examination and remove the carcass.

The public has been advised to stay clear of the area.
