How Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey, & Other Producers Made "The Middle"

If you've listened to the radio at all, you've heard "The Middle"; the smash by Zedd, Maren Morris, and Grey.  But you have no idea how much actually went into the production of it! 

The New York Times did a great vlog about how the pop hit was actually made, including a songwriter, multiple producers, and 14 attempts at a vocalist.  Would've NEVER imagined that THAT much would go into it!

Listen, I LOVE the final product with Maren Morris...but I think the song would've sounded JUST as amazing with the original songwriter, Sarah Aarons, as the vocalist!!  I almost wish that version existed too!!
