If you've been caught in any of the powerful hurricanes that have come through Florida over the years, you know how terrifying it can be. We can definitely relate to horrible natural disasters.
These videos coming out of Japan are absolutely terrifying, after cities were hit by the most powerful typhoon to hit Japan in 25 years. Roofs just being ripped off like they're paper, trucks being blown over...
I remember being caught in the path of Hurricane Charley in Lake Wales. I evacuated South Tampa because it was supposed to hit, went to Lake Wales, and it ended up shifting directions and coming straight at us.
The aftermath was crazy! No power in the neighborhood, my friend's pool cover destroyed, furniture and a trampoline from someone's yard was tossed in the middle of the street, roofs destroyed, carports knocked down on top of cars, streets damaged, trees down everywhere...it was insane.
Seeing these videos out of Japan are frightening!
At least 10 people have died, hundreds injured, and millions affected by the typhoon.
Thoughts and prayers to everyone over there.
