Billie Eilish Thanks Variety For "Not Making Her Look Stupid" Like Kimmel

If you missed Billie Eilish's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last week, there was A LOT of backlash for it since he felt the need to test Billie on her knowledge of old music stars. One of those being Van Halen, which she didn't know. Keep in mind, Billie is 17-years-old.

Well Billie, being as amazing as she is, decided to throw some shade back during her acceptance speech at Variety's Hitmakers event, where she won Hitmaker Of The Year. (Watch the acceptance speech below)

She started out her speech with:

Thank you so much Variety. Thank you for not making me look stupid like everybody else wants to do on TV. I love that.
