A family in Australia saved as many koalas as they could from the fires by loading a bunch of them into their car, then driving to their neighbor who has a permit to care for them.
Video of the makeshift koala compound has gone viral. (See the video below)
Sadly, one of the koalas passed from its injuries (the only laying on its side in the passenger seat).
