HUNTINGTON BEACH (CNS) - A body was found Monday morning in a lane of the San Diego (405) Freeway in Huntington Beach.

The discovery was made just before 3 a.m. on the southbound San Diego Freeway just south of Beach Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A witness reported the person was in the second to right lane, the CHP said.

A vehicle possibly related to the incident was found on the right shoulder.

A SigAlert was issued at 3:22 a.m. closing the southbound lanes 3 and 4 and the Center and Edinger avenues on-ramps to traffic. It appeared the Beach Boulevard on-ramp was also affected.
