The Detroit Tigers (62-70) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (78-54) 4-1 on Tuesday night at Comerica Park in Detroit. With the win, the Tigers have evened the three-game series at a game apiece.
The Rays got on the board in the fourth inning thanks to a RBI single from Jonny DeLuca. The Tigers answered with three runs in the fifth inning - the big moment came when Max Clark hit a two-run homer to give Detroit the lead. The Tigers added an insurance run in the seventh to make it 4-1, which would prove to be the final score.
