You wanna talk about a hero of a dad... this video from a rodeo in Texas is INSANE!
Cody Hooks, an 18-year-old bull rider, was violently thrown off a bull only a few seconds into his ride, leaving him unconscious. Cody's dad didn't wait long to hop into the rodeo ring to check on his son, then jumped on top of him to shied him from the charging bull, taking a massive hit himself!! (Watch the crazy video below)
Cody posted the video to his Instagram with the caption:
Not one to post falling off, but big thanks to my dad @hooks.landis and the bullfighters last night in Belton, Tx could’ve been a hella lot worse. #blessed
