From the "I Had No Idea This Actually Existed" files... there's an actual 'Wife-Carrying Championship' obstacle race! The UK version just wrapped over the weekend, which led me to find out that there's actually one in the U.S. as well!! And the video is everything you'd expect it to be!

Couples raced over a hilly 380 metre course and had to navigate a few straw bales jumps near the start. There was of course the splash zone, ensuring all competitors got a thorough soaking before the finish line.
