First of all, congratulations to the West Pasco 10U softball team for remaining undefeated thru their state tournament, now on their way to represent Florida at the Dixie World Series! They are actually the first Angels team locally in ten years to make it to the World Series. But what's even cooler than that is that it's a family affair!! Because their 9-year-old catcher, Kelsey Adams, is following in the footsteps of her nana, who's West Pasco softball team won the World Series back in 1981.
Dixie is a non-profit 501c league though, so they've started a GoFundMe to try to raise money because some of the families can't afford the expenses of travel and hotel. The team is trying to raise enough money for hotel for 12 girls and 3 coaches, plus food for the team. They're heading to Louisiana for the World Series in two weeks!
