It's true! Venice Beach is the shark tooth capital, and if you've ever been there, you surely know why!
Sifting through the sand here, you find far more than just shells. Shark tooth after shark tooth, fossils, bones and so much more.
Personally, I like to visit Caspersen Beach, which is just a couple minutes down the road and has free parking. It is one of my favorite places in the world! I have found literally HUNDREDS of sharks teeth from all different kinds of sharks.
You can rent, make, or buy sifting tools to make finding the teeth a little easier. They are found all over downtown Venice, but are also pretty easy to make!
