A new video shows Ronnie Hicks of North Carolina driving a stolen tractor and leading police on a 20MPH chase while blaring the "Dukes of Hazzard" theme song. Hicks allegedly stole the tractor, tried to run pedestrians down, and then fled at 20 mph and played the catchy theme song as he drove through Boone, NC.
Hicks was taken into custody after an officer reportedly used a Taser to subdue him. At least three civilian vehicles were damaged due to his actions and one Boone Police patrol unit was intentionally rammed by Mr. Hicks, resulting in several thousand dollars of damage, according to Watauga Online.
Stop sticks were used to eventually stop the tractor.
