The Best French Dip Recipe Ever... And It's SO Easy To Make!

I've been trying some new recipes lately, and this may just be my favorite one yet!

Not only is it insanely delicious, but it is also so easy to make thanks to my crockpot, which I recently used for the very first time. All you need is:

  • Beef Roast (Approx. 2-3 pounds)
  • 1/2 of an Onion
  • 1 Packet of Onion Soup Mix
  • 2-3 Tsp of minced garlic
  • 4 Cups of Beef Broth
  • Hoagie Rolls (I prefer the fresh ones from the bakery)
  • Provolone Cheese

The instructions couldn't be any easier. Throw everything (minus) the cheese into the crockpot.

Cook on low for about 8-9 hours. OR cook on high for about an hour and a half, then set the crockpot to low for another 5 hours.

Shred your meat, throw it on a fresh hoagie roll, put some cheese on it, and toss it into the broiler for a few minutes. I used some of the broth and made it into a french onion soup, but you could also just put it in a dish and use it to dip your french dip into!
