'Rocko's Modern Life' Returns With A Film Debuting On Netflix

Rocko's Modern Life movie? Nickelodeon is bringing back their classic "Are you afraid of the dark" as I mentioned in a previous blog here.

Now "Rocko's Modern Life" is returning?

You heard it right! It's Georgia here, and if you're a 90's kid like me, then this is for you.

The classic Nickelodeon animated series "Rocko's Modern Life" that ran from 1993-1996 will have a film on Netflix. The film "Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling" will debut on Friday, August 9th.

Here's a clip of the film here.

The preview shows the wallaby 'Rocko Rama' returning to O-Town after spending the last two decades stuck in outer space, and Rocko's finds out that things have changed a bit! (Random that Rocko's been in outer space, but hey. That's the life of Rocko.)

Rocko will adjust to his old friends Heffer and Filburt, along with the other characters that were in the show. The characters, (like our modern world) are obsessed with the technology, like touch screen "O-phones", and the instant print kiosk that's taken over his old job at Kin-of-a-Lot-O-Comics.

The movie has the same show creators , and also has the same voice returning for Rocko, voice acted by Carlos Alazraqui.

Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling will debut on Netflix, Friday August 9th. The Nickelodeon's original series Rocko's Modern Life is also available for steaming on Amazon Prime and SlingTV.

Even though the show has been done now for nearly 25 years, it will be nice for the new generations to check out! The eight year old is so happy about this 90's cartoon comeback.
