Paris Hilton shared a sweet TikTok video of son Phoenix splashing around a lazy river this Memorial Day weekend, and followers immediately expressed concerned about the placement of the child's life jacket.
Fellow mothers took to the comment section to let the entertainment icon know that the life jacket was on backwards, and that it should be buckled on the other side. Hilton received a handful of comments addressing the mishap, but was also met with understanding and admiration from fans who just love seeing her as a mother.
"Hey momma, just a tip from another puddle jumper mom I think it's on backwards. But I love this video pure joy," one fan wrote. The Simple Life alum replied stating:
"Oops thank you! I never let him out of my arms. Thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from & they said it was on right. But thank you so much for letting me know!"
Swim teachers even replied to the post recommending the best life jacket to help baby Phoenix succeed in his "swim journey."
This is not the first time that Hilton has graciously replied to parenting critique from social media followers. A few weeks ago, the star incorrectly set up Phoenix and 6-month-old daughter London's car seats in her new van, and followers were quick to point out the mistake. Hilton humbly took their advice to heart and posted a follow up video that showed the safety concern resolved.
"I am a new mom and just learning as I go. So I appreciate advice when it is kind 😇 as I’m just trying to be the best mom I can be. Everything that comes to me with love and kindness I will always take with love."
