Richard Sherman is coming to the Bucs! While signing a former all-pro at the age of 33 doesn't sound exciting, anything helps with the banged up secondary. Its a low-risk high reward move for them. The Buccaneers rank dead last in pass defense and adding something like Sherman is going to help them.
As this is being written we don't have a ton of details on the terms of the deal but none of that really matters. What matters is that they added someone with experience, the ability to shut down the passing game, and will be a defensive leader while those who are injured are out.
